State Highway 23 near State Highway 26
Anywhere along 23 that runs within the city limits. Usually just sitting on the side of the street. 5 over will get you a ticket thru this town. Locally very well known as someplace you just do not speed thru. Be careful on the west end, as the 30mph limit catches many out of towners unaware.

This town is such a speed trap that the local gas station / convenience store sells T-shirts that say " I got a ticket in Rosendale. It is one of the few towns that go from 55mph to 30mph with out any reduction in between. However if you do get a ticket then show up to court and say that your speedometer is out of whack and they will reduce points but you still have to pay big bucks.
Yes state highway 23 near state highway 26 is a speed trap. I need glasses the sign is not in the open and once you get past the school on highway 23 it looks like a highway. I feel it is not right to have a officer sit on top of the hill when speed limit sign is 45 and you can literally see speed limit sign that is less then 10 feet away pulls over for honest mistake not seeing the 30 mile speed limit before it turns to 45. i may be wrong but not driving in that area i know now just feel i did get a raw deal, time to purchase t shirt
