State Highway 231 South near Barfield Lane
Usually Right past the Murfreesboro City Limits. Speed drops from 60MPH, to 45MPH or either 40MPH. There will be an officer usually across from Food Lion at the entrance to the subdivision, but the entire section is patrolled from city limits to Butler / Warrior Drive.

This area is heavily patrolled, but never seen an actual speedtrap.
10-12 yrs ago there was a particularly zealous MPD officer who was ruthlessly efficient at citing "speeders". One day at this location he became so target-fixated with an approaching bogie that he U-turned from the curb to give chase....across three lanes of traffic. He was immediately T-boned by a very noisy and well-lit ambulance passing thru the intersection. Quiet talk after his funeral with several officers I questioned agreed that the deceased was trying to regain his position, and reputation, after coming off a lengthy sick leave as top ticket writer.
