i agree with this observation concerning HWY 231 in Campbelton. Just recieved my citation leaving the seabreeze jazz festival in Panama City on Monday 4/23/12(i can only imagine how many tickets they wrote on sunday) for alledgedly going 57 in a 35 northbound at the overpass/hill entering the town. The deputy sits in a curve to your left at the bottom of the hill on the southbound side. Generraly you accelerate climbing a hill of course with traffic flow and decelerate coming down the hill, they clock you as you crest the hill. He said was doing me favor for writing the ticket at 50mph and suggested driving school to reduce points. I asked if it would reduce the fine he didn't know. The fine is $256.00. $256.00 f----n dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will not be traveling thru this trap again. BOYCOTT this town when going to Panama City and returning. Take Alabama 109 south of Dothan off US 231, take Fla 77 in Graceville to Chipley, take Fla 277 south to 79 south to Front Beach Rd. Panama City Beach Fla. F--- Campbelton, Fla.
