State Highway 24 near Acalanes Road
As you leave downtown lafayette area going West (past the BART station)on 24 you come down the hill on your way to the acalanes road exit. Just on the other side of the bridge on your right is an extra shoulder area with a bunch of trees next to it… The squad car usually hides behind the bridge railing and the trees in this shoulder area… beware, he has a solid stretch of shoulder to get up to speed and will catch up to you quickly, so keep your mph below 80 through here.
