State Highway 24 near Spruce Street

Stockton, KansasSep 10, 20081 Comments

On Highway 24 driving east into the west end of town the speed limit is 65 M.P.H. As you drive into town from the west, if you’re not paying attention, the speed limit drops from 65 to 35 M.P.H. If you are driving above the speed limit, and you see the high school football stadium located on the north side of 24 it’s too late. F.Y.I. Better have your proof of insurance card or they’ll assume you don’t have insurance and cite you for this as well. And why you are instructed by the city police to call the phone number on the back the next day @ 4 p., I’ll never know.

Comments:
Not paying attention is called inattentive driving, and you can be sighted for that, and that is a major cause of accidents. Also a law, showing proof of insurance. State of Kansas says you must carry with you in your vehicle proof of current vehicle insurance.
