State Highway 26 near Between Brightwood and Rhododendron
The speed drops from 55mph to 45mph and stays at this speed between these two towns, about 10 miles, and the police are very tricky. Many times they hit you with radar from the opposite direction then turn around catch and ticket you. This whole area is a safety corridor and all fines are double. Looking at $200+ fines.

Exactly that happened to me last week. Ouch, it didn't seem like I was speeding at all. Never had a speeding ticket in 40 years. Not to happy with the state police at the moment.
