State Highway 260 near city limits sign

The photo radar, the reduced speed limit and the city limit all occur within a few feet of each other. The cameras are catching an unbelievable number of offenders.

it's true, within so few feet, you barely have time to realize the speed limit drop from the 55 sign you just passed, to 45 at the crest of the same hill... let alone respond... and the camera is going off... I checked that town's budget and this year alone, they projected around $8889,000 revenue from that speed trap!!!! That's about 3 times higher revenue than the town brings in from property taxes etc!! Anyone can see for themselves those cameras and the short spaced speed limit signs were set up to bring in money and nothing else! http://ci.star-valley.az.us/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/2016-Tentative-Budget.pdf

oops... no way to edit... obviously the amount of revenue from the speed trap was a typo... the real amount expected is $889,000 ...eight hundred eighty nine thousand dollars, 2016 alone!!
