State Highway 27 near Wal-mart

Dayton, TennesseeNov 15, 20041 Comments

Traveling North approaching the city limits, you’re driving the sped limit at 55. The road goes downhill whn somewhere around the Walmart it drops to 35. They get people there all the time because even at 45, the four lane road makes you think you are going slower than you are. SOuth bound traffic has ben nailed too.

Comments:
While the area in the article is a speed trap for other reasons. The speed limit is 45MPH from one end of Highway 27 in Dayton, to the other end. No where does the speed limit go to 35MPH, on any part of Highway 27, from Soddy-Daisy, to the southern part of Rockwood! I drive this route frequently and would notice any 35MPH sign.
