State Highway 288 near State Highway 35

The Angletom police department is out setting speed traps on 288. I have only seen them on the southbound side at the exit the exit for West Columbia.

Speed Trap??? Now how is Highway 288 a speed trap??? The speed limit is 65mph, and is clearly posted From Lake Jackson all the way through Angleton, Rosharon, Manvel, Pearland into Houston. The speed limit does NOT DROP ANY on SH 288 just north of FM2004 in Lake Jackson and right when you get to Beltway 8 in Houston. There is approximately 45miles of a steady 65mph speed limit. How is that a speed trap??

How do you set out a speed trap? Is that anything like a "live trap" for animals? Just wondering
