Rock Mills doesn’t have a police force, but ASP, and Randolf county SO patrol frequently on 34 both sides of the town towards roanoke, and on the georgia side of town.

The speed limit in Rock Mills is 35 mph. We see people coming through here ALL the time driving 60+ mph. If you don't like the idea of getting a ticket, then do the simple and legal thing.........SLOW DOWN. There have been way too many kids run over in this community because of people that think they are in a big enough hurry that they need to drive 20 and 30 miles over the limit. Once again, just another case of people that think they are above the law.......And how dare a law enforcement officer actually enforce the law the way it should be. Don't like the way blue lights look in the rear-view mirror??.......Then behave.
