State Highway 361 near FM 1069
Comming out of Ingleside going towards Portland, The State Trooper sits on the curve about a 1/4 mile past the RR Tracks. He is polite and fast. Problem is you seem to be out of town far enough for the 60 mph to be in force (only 55)when it is actually about 3/4 of a mile on down the road. Be carefull! The tickets are expensive……

I live in I'side and 361 west of town is not patrolled with any regularity any more. That doesn't mean that there will not be a cop there tomorrow but it is not patrolled with the vengeance that it once was.
Traffic in I'side has slowed down a lot since the base has closed and the rig yards are not on full shift anymore. The school zone between downtown and Main St. headed south is sometimes patrolled during school hours as it well should be but this still doesn't stop speeders there.
From having liven in I'side for 55 years I can tell you that there are NO speed traps in town. There are police that will gladly give you a free ticket if you break the law, but they will do it with a smile.
