Comments:
Highway 4 does not go through Tolar, State Hwy 56 intersects US 377 there. When entering Tolar from Granbury, the speed limit quickly drops from 70 to 45 in a couple of steps, beginning just past the overhead railroad bridge. The local police often hide, just reduce your speed and save your money. I know, I live there and see it all the time.

I just recently received a ticket from the lovely Tolar police department. These individuals have no remorse for people that are passing through that are not familiar with the area. I was traveling west bound with my family pulling a 32 foot travel trailer following traffic. I never saw the speed limit sign since I was following other traffic I guess I was just the lucky one. This individual is not worth the title he thinks he has earned as a public servant. He should run for a position he is more qualified for. Dog catcher.
