State Highway 38
Highway 38 going from Redlands up to Big Bear is loaded with CHP officers (in patrol cars and SUV’s). They’re either located in the curvy areas so they can get you crossing the double yellows or in the straight-aways so they can get you speeding.

If they are getting you for crossing the double yellow lines or speeding....then it isn't a speed trap, it is a "catch the stupid" trap. If you cross the double yellow line then you may come on over and kill my wife. If you are speeding then you may lose control and kill some's children. Naw, not a speed trap at all......a "catch the stupid" trap and I like it that way in this area.
