State Highway 395 near 10th Avenue
Kennewick police set up on W 7th Ave which is a cross street to HWY395 just before you enter the mildly congested intersection of W 4th Ave. The speed limit is 50 mph prior to 10th Ave. It changes to 35 mph for about 1 mile prior to going back up to 45mph after crossing W Clearwater Ave.

Yep, the city police got me on state route 395 near 7th street, August 2005. We had driven from Kentucky to Seattle primarily following back roads driving much less than the speed limit. On our return trip, in no hurry, we would drop off the Interstate system and drive thru the little towns. Unfortunately, by not knowing the area and not seeing the 35 mph speed sign, I was ticketed for doing 46 mph. You never forget these places and like to pass along the info to others.
