State Highway 5 & 20 near State Park

Geneva, New YorkOct 24, 20072 Comments

As you pass the last stop light, leaving Geneva, headed East on 5 & 20 you are in a 45 mile per hour zone. You are still within the city limits, but due to the lack of cross-streets or turn-offs, you have a sense of being out of town. About halfway between this point and the turn-off to the state park is a small gravel pull-off. I have frequently seen police officers parked there to enforce the 45 mph speed limit. It’s not out of sight, but it is very unnoticable! Be careful here! Once you pass the state park entrance, the speed limit is upped to 55.

Comments:
Update: The 55 passed the state park has been reduced to 45 since the Lowe's was added further down.
