You might as well slow down to 5 under the limit (just to be safe) for the entire stretch of Hwy 50 thru Oakland. They have a favorite ‘trick’ for ticket writing. They will write one ticket and then while that ticket is intentionally written on the side of the road, a bank of other cops will sit and clock you to ensure you are going 10 under the limit while passing the first officer. This is the law and I have no problem with that law, but they are clearly exploiting it for monetary gain.
