State Highway 51 near Court Street
A state highway (WV Route 51) that runs through a residential area on the outskirts of town. Speed limit is 25 due to many cross streets and a blinding hill. Police run radar in this area due to many citizen complaints. Enforcement is usually conducted at night due to the high level of drunk driver’s passing through the area leaving Charles Town Races & Slots.
