It has been a couple of years since I’ve traveled into Bothell from Highway 522 but the Bothell police used to set up a huge speed trap right where 522 turns into Woodinville Dr. they would actually post construction signs stating that there was a speed trap ahead. What bothers me about that area is that the speed limit on 522 is 55 MPH. but as soon as you hit Woodinville Dr. is dives to 25 MPH. and the speed limit sign is actually on a corner right where the police sit so you have absoloutely no time to slow to the limit. I’ve had a couple of friends get pulled over there as they were slowing down to 25.
