State Highway 59 near Interstate 10
This is a 4 lane Hwy with a 65 MPH speed. Appr. 1 mile before reaching I-10 there is a curve that leads into a straight section approaching I-10 (if you are southbound). It is very deceptive because it does not look like an area you need to slow down in but the speed limit drops to 55 MPH. State Troopers, County and Loxely City enforce this area. They will ticket you in either direction if you aren’t doing the speed limit by the time you reach the 55 MPH sign (southbound)or if you speed up to 65 before you reach the sign in the Northbound direction. I have seen them ticket motorists (literaly) within feet of the sign so do not press you luck… Zero Tolerance!
