State Highway 60 near US Highway 27
On Highway 60 in Lake Wales, as you’re going East on 60 – there’s an overpass over Hwy 27 – just as you go over the overpass, the speed limit is 40. LWPD is right there on the other side of the overpass (which is a hill) to pop everyone that comes over the hill…and I mean literally, Everyone!

That big peddle in the middle of the floor is for slowing down for the dangerous merge and cross traffic over the that hill. If u can't see what is over the hill or in front of you,,, why would you NOT slow down ? Maybe there is a truck stopped in front of you over that hill !
