State Highway 62
Speed limit on most sections of this road is 65 mph. Three miles east of Harrah the speed is reduced to 45 mph and is monitored by the Oklahoma County Sheriffs dept. The speed limit is increased to 55 mph when you reach the Harrah City limits. The section at 45 mph is rural and not populated.

Its not a trap really.
Just normal law enforcement where a lot of people speed.
I knew a woman that was killed being T Boned along with her daughter & Grand daughter.
Three generations killed by a speeder.
55 mph, with the hills in farm country is to fast for a 2 lane Rd.
Years ago this Stretch of HWY 62 was voted one of Oklahoma's Most Dangerous Roads. Their is a Bar at the curve going into Harrah and it's a recipe for disaster. My husband was hit head on by a drunk driver that was leaving that bar over 10years ago and the drunk driver had a suspended license because he'd had so many DUI's. My husband survived by the Grace of God. I'm glad there is a police presence in this area.
