Irmo police are almost constantly on the prowl..They habitually hide in various parking lots along Hwy. 76 from I-26 to the Friarsgate shopping center area..This seems to be their preferred "trap" area..Avoid traveling through this area if possible, particularly alone and at night..57 MPH seems to be their standard "charge" for speeding, regardless of your actual speed..I suspect their using "decoys" as well..
