As you pass the 35 MPH sign you come over a slight rise in the road, and bingo, there the cops are.

Comments:
This definitely is a speed trap in little Williston. Sunday morning 11:11am on 12/12/10 I was gifted with one of them by young officer (Pvt) Mebane (Badge 161). This young clown told me "we are trying to save lives". I assured him that the only thing he was trying to do was generate income for the little town. If he were trying to save lives, why did he not park his car along side the road completely visible to both oncoming and incoming traffic. The "Bond" is $81.50 and Pvt Mebane refused to take the cash payment from me. I thought I would save the city the paperwork of processing the fee and actually offered a Ben Franklin telling him that the city could mail me the refund. He declined offering me a neatly printed business card with complete instructions how the fine could be paid online and "without hassle". What a convenient way to collect monies for the little town's coffers-tax those traveling through the wide spot as they head for better destinations. Folks, watch out for Pvt Mebane and his buddies in little Williston.
