State Highway 84 near Ritchie Road
Highway 84 in Woodway (southwest corner of Waco) has a nice hill that crests and begins heading downhill at the Ritchie Road exit. Police will sit up on the off-ramp which is above the highway and clock speeder. Further, police will also sit on the bridge over the highway and clock speeders, then radio down to their partners who pull over the offenders. The only real problem is that the cops will ticket anyone doing any amount of speed over the limit — it is definitely a revenue-enhancement area.

Some time ago, I was walking out of HEB in Hewitt. I asked one of the Woodway officers about whether he was holding a laser unit outside of his window. He confirmed that he was indeed using laser at the Ritchie Road location while on the westbound shoulder. The officer was pretty friendly.
