State Highway 9 near Mile Marker 1
Hurricane is a speedtrap. Posted speeds change and the police, UHP and Washington County Sheriffs partol this road. We need a new police station, so guess who will pay for it. They use p/u trucks, marked and a lot of unmarked cars. The lightbar is almost impossible to see. If they stop you, you will surley get a ticket.

I agree 100% about the cops in Hurricane Utah. they use Dodge Chargers of all diferent colors with no markings and the light bars are inside the cars.
I moved here several years ago and have never seen a town with wall to wall law officers patroling to this extent! I have never talked to anyone who got away with a warning or let go. They seem to impound every vehicle they can (for the revenue I'm sure). They do hide out a lot and watch most people and know where they live.
