State Highway 906 and 201
The police cars sit along the river. The speed limit constantly changes so it’s difficult to get used to. This town is one of the most notorious speed traps in the area and the police are very aggressive. I requested a hearing at the magistrates office and everyone in there had the same speed of 42 mph written on their citations. Sounds a little fishy. Best to avoid the North Belle Vernon area if at all possible.

I agree about North Belle Vernon being a speed trap. I also had a hearing, the magistrate was a clown. Everyone in the waiting room had the same speed on their tickets. I think the cooked officer had the tickets partially filled out before hand. I can't believe how many times the speed changes for no apparent reason along the river. This type of speed trap should be illegal. My ticket was about five years ago, but it still bothers me. I am absolutely certain that I was not traveling at 42 mph. Hope this helps. Avoid North Belle Vernon.
