State Highway chapman/Jenkins hill near The Gathering Church
The speed drops from 55mph to 45 then within less than a mile it drops to 35mph. The local police are sitting right about where the speed limit changes from 45 to 35 every day. They catch alot of tourist because they are not aware of the sudden drop from 45 to 35. This is when you are coming into town and you are coming down a hill. They are always sitting or driving in the opposite direction, so beware.

This particular speed trap is listed in the Sevierville section at least three times. They have a radar gun out there every day and it is a major source of revenue for the Sevierville P.D.
