State Highway Concho near 6 mi. E. of Snowflake

Snowflake, ArizonaJun 17, 20061 Comments

Sheriff’s deputies are pulling people over all day and night on Concho Hwy just E. of Snowflake and within the city limits on Main St. all the way through Taylor. I witnessed 4 other stops within 5 miles on the same day (excluding my own stop). I returned to take digital photos and video of the conditions, traffic, weather, surroundings, places they were hiding, and other stops they made the same day.

Comments:
I will never visit Snowflake, and will take any alternative route to avoid entering the community. The speed traps designed to suck money from people traveling through and around Snowflake must fund the entire police department. Not only was the fine excessive, they then charged a late fee of $20. Then, they don't notify you and jack up the amount owed to $101.00! Oh, then you get your license suspend. I will bad mouth Snowflake for the rest of my life. Every chance I get. I'm a 52 year old Arizona native with property in several locations around Arizona including the White Mountains. I also own a real estate company with over 30 in-house agents. I will be informing everyone I can, that they should avoid Snowflake at all costs. By simple word-of-mouth, Snowflake will lose more money than was gained through stopping me and my family in what the internet describes as a major US speed trap. ---Leo
