speed zones start well out in county on both ends. cops sit in driveways at each end in unmarked midsized cars. looks like personal cars that way. been nailed on both ends. use instant on, no chance for detector to work.

Yes, this is definitely a speed trap and has been so for many decades. I used to drive this route regularly in the late 1970s and early 1980s. There would always be police cars waiting for you. Fortunately, the cars were all marked back in those days. And you quickly learned that they are always there. Fortunately I was never nabbed, but I'm sure many, many less fortunate were.
