Along King’s Highway in the small town of Driver within Suffolk City, the speed limit was recently decreased from 30 MPH to 25 MPH without warning of the decrease. Speed Bumps were also recently added as you merge from the 45 MPH Nansemond Parkway onto King’s Highway toward Driver. Suffolk City Police are regularly seen sitting on the right or left in the parking lots or along the street (hidden) among the local businesses. There is little room to decelerate to 25 MPH once you merge onto King’s Highway (125). Be careful!
