This is definitely not a speed trap. People who go through town are warned at least 1/4 mile from where the police are that the speed limit is changed to 25 MPH and another 1/4 mile before that wasrning of the change. Anyone who does not slow down will see the police (if they are there) because the police is in plain view. It keeps the road safe in this sleepy town.
