From SouthBridge Parkway to the intersection of Old Milton and Northpoint Pkwy. For the past few years the Alpharetta Police TEU have been setting up all kinds of speeding traps. Typically, since Old Milton has many shopping centers on it they wait right on the turning lanes on to the road. They usually use there black Crown Vics or their new Empalas, which makes them very hard to see at night. They usually set these traps at night any where from 8PM to the early morning hours. With all the shopping centers, lights, and other surrondings its just very hard to spot them since the road is virtually straight. There usuallydoing this in sets of threes. The cars will line up together so when you see them at first your only going to see one car and not the others until you drive right pass them. The speed limit is a bit too low for that area, its 45, but its tempting to do 55-60 on it. To be fair the speed limit should be at least 50 on the road.
