Several officers in this town have found a new love of writing tickets. If you are passing thru here make sure you dont speed (even 5 over)and all your equipment is working cause they will pull you over. Even for a tag light. And don’t expect a warning either. It will be a ticket.

Police in Allen stop for tag lights and improper equipment, any violation of the law. But I've been here for 9 yrs and haven't ever heard of them stopping or citing someone for 5 mph over. Anyway I like the guys who patrol here and hope they keep up the good work!
