STATE HWY 31E
From SSE Loop 323 to FM 850 on State Hwy 31Eit is 60mph not 70mph like most people think. DPS Sheriff car and moto moniter this 2.5 mile stretch on a regular basis. Most people think it is automatic 70mph. They moniter both east and west bound traffic daily.

The speed limit in this area, being 60 mph, is well posted and the ones who think it is 70 mph are just not paying attention.
This is no way a speed trap it is posted just look. Good job for all Law Enforcement that patrol this deadly highway.
