State Hwy Mile Marker 97

I was pulled over in the same spot as the Japanese grandmother, singled out of a group, lazered at 42, and issued a ticket in excess of $100. Me, I look Portuguese (which I am) but sound Californian (which I am), so I guess I didn’t qualify the apology that the Japanese lady got (I think we were clocked at the same speed.) The officer asked a lot of questions: the last 4 numbers of my soc sec, my home ph, my cell ph, my employer, was I in the military? There were 2 unmarked SUVs, one on either side of the road, and they were catching them like flies.

Comments:
I was pulled over and ticketed for going 49. Over a $100 fine. Two cops working the trap and they just laughed and joked the entire time. My officer got me on the road in under 10 minutes and before I was out of sight had another person pulled over. This is a cash cow for somebody. It generates enough money that they need two officers on site. Business is that good. Public safety isn't the concern with these clowns, it's all about generating money for?? Never did figure out what pheelice force was doing the work, state, county, or city. Does anyone know? Be a while before I return for a visit. There are plenty of speed traps closer to home to visit and it'd be cheaper in the long run.
