Going South From Ossion 1 Mile North Of Bluffton, The Speed Limit Is 55 Then You See 3 Small Signs About Eye Level One Behind The Other The Same Height, And A School On The East Side Of Rt.1 The Speed Limit Drops To 40 mph In This School Zone. Which Is Not Posted As A Reduced School Zone, No Warning . By The You See The The 40 mph Sign The Local Police Has You On Laser And You Don’t Have The Chance To Slow Down From 55 To 40 mph in Time. The Local Bluffton Police Are Sitting On A Side Road And Have You As Soon As You Are Where You Can See The 40 mph Sign. (For 15 Miles Over The Speed Limit The Fine Is $102.00) Take Extra Care To Watch Your Speed Through Bluffton.

The above speed trap information is false. The speed limit is 55 all the way through this area. The person who posted this is refering to a warning sign. There was an instance where a new officer wrote about two tickets for in this area a few years back but they were dismissed by the prosecutor.(Unless the driver came in and paid for the ticket without question because the court clerk would not have known) So if you paid for a ticket received in this location, sorry about your luck.
