State Route 10 near State Highway 85
The speed limit throughout this sleepy little town is a ridiculously low 25 mph and extends for a long distance on Route 10. If you don;t have a good radar detector, don;t take any chance on a blue light special here.

This is a nice little rural town which hasn't had a record of ticketing drivers for minor speed violations but lately I have noticed more and more tickets being issued for speeding (only a few mph over) and failure to come to a complete stop at intersections. The officers are very well trained and good guys so this probably economy related but yet it is increasing and one should watch your step in Oceana these days.
