Not long ago the speed limit going into this town was changed,it has always been 40mph in the town but now the have extended the 40mph zone so be at 40 when you get to the rail road tressel when traveling southeast, and 40mph when traveling northwest at the begining of town,the police sit at the church at one end and at the town hall at the other end, it’s always been will county police.

Driving south from Wilmington (i.e. toward Bourbonnais) you better have slowed to 40 mph by the time you reach the speed limit sign by the Grain Elevator (or maybe even BEFORE) because Johnny Law is going to shooting radar way down the road at you. If you wait until you reach the sign to slow down, you're too late! This is a SPEED TRAP if I have ever seen one!
