State Route 11 near Pennsylvania Turnpike

Speeding anywhere in this township is begging for trouble. This townships PD is on constant speed trap mode. This township receives 75% of its annual income from citations. There has been much debate lately from township residents because their PD spends more time writing traffic citations then solving crime. This township rates in my book as ridiculous.

Comments:
Rt. 11 between 81 and 76 is a true, good old fashion speed trap. The cops claim to use VASCAR but they do so while driving and while following from a distance. Imagine judging a marathon race by driving a quarter of a mile behind the finishing racers. How can someone drive and push a button twice timing a car a quarter of a mile up the road? How can someone measure depth well enough to know when someone passed two points from behind. The cops that run this racket are 12 strong and their only purpose is to guard this short stretch of road connecting two major express way. This stretch is dangerous for drivers. Avoid this stretch at all cost. You very well may be pulled over while driving the speed limit and be accused of driving excessive speeds, especially if you have out of town plates. Be careful!
