State Route 118 near Bell Road
Coming into Coldwater from 118N there are normally City Police sitting at area business waiting for speeders. The speed limit goes from 55 to 45 but not people like to slow when they see this. Plus there is a hill that you can’t see the cops until you are close to the 45 speed limit sign. So be definitely looking at the surrounding businesses for hiding cops coming in and out of Coldwater.

The police are at this area often because it is a place where there are often children present. Just follow the speed limit and you won't get a ticket. I am not a police officer. I am a citizen of coldwater that is tired of people speeding through our village.
Baloney! This is a BUSINESS area, not residential. There aren't any kids in the area and CW police are notorious of late for being jerks. It used to be like Mayberry there. Now the police are fond of tailing people all over town and "picking" on a few residents that they just don't like for whatever reason. Crime is low in CW so the cops don't have ANYthing better to do.
