State Route 126 near Interstate 55
Coming off of I-55 onto Route 126 at the Plainfield Exit. Speed limit drops from 55 to 45 fairly quickly. Will County Sheriff sits behind construction company sign on south side of the street, right when the speed limit drops. Since you are still traveling at a higher rate of speed due to the expressway, it takes conscious effort to reduce speed so quickly.

As you exit I-55 onto Rt. 126, there is an entire mile before the speed limit drops to 45 AND there is a sign, "Reduced Speed Ahead-45 mph", about a quarter mile before the posted speed reduction.
In the 20 years I've lived here, I have never seen a County Sheriff sitting at the sign for the construction company sign (quarry?).
