Coming north from Glendale on Rt. 2, the speed limit is 50 mph through the "Narrows" and on into McMechen until you pass the 6th Street Bridge where it turns to 55mph. The Police sit on the side of the road coming out of the Narrows on Rt. 2 NB, in the parking lot at the McMechen Sewage treatment plant SB, Near the 6th street bridge NB and SB. Also, heading NB, they sometimes sit on Baltimore Street that runs parallel to Rt. 2 near 3rd street (North end of the city) so they can clock you and then immediately enter the highway behind you as you cross the bridge into Benwood.
