State Route 23 South near Newark Pompton Turnpike
At the base of the hill on Rt. 23 South below Butler. Police sit in a commercial parking lot with radar aimed up the hill. The speed limit drops to 45 MPH on the down grade and they ticket everyone that picked up speed. The Riverdale municipal court is filled to capacity with violators every session for this violation.
