The local PD likes to hang out in the median in front of Eliot Commons, going after people in the 35 mph, and also watching patrons leave the brewery. Tons of DUI stops near this location.
This is not a trap. There are signs posting the speed limit on both sides. The problem is that drivers are too busy yapping on the phone or texting or just plain daydreaming. Behind the wheel is no place for any of those things. Pay attention, obey the law and no problems.
