State Route 25-A near Dye Mill Road
When heading northbound into Troy via 25-A, it is a four lane road with a posted speed limit of 45 mph. Just before you reach the Waco museum on the right the limit becomes 35 mph. Many people continue to drive through this area at 45 mph or faster. The sign is not really noticable and since the road doesn’t change you wouldn’t think the posted speed limit would either. I quite frequently see OSP and Miami Co. Sheriffs sitting in the driveway of the Waco Museum pointing their radar at cars, especially in the morning or afternoons when people are going to and from work. It’s hard to see them because there are some trees and bushes that block your view until you are too close to slow down.
