State Route 260 near State Highway 260
Roughly, an 8 mile section of State Route 260 from Heber to Show Low. Speeds for this section alternate between 40mph, and 60mph. Miss a 40, and you’ve got a ticket. Fines are excessive, and the primary targets are out of state drivers. Those running at 65mph will be arrested, and jailed incurring additional fees.

The speed limit in this area is 45 not 40. It is right though the middle of a town. There are several (9) speed limit signs advising that you are in a 45 area. Arizona natives get tickets as often as out of state people. Locals don't get stopped as often because they know what the speed limit is and pay attention to signs.
Looks like the Redflex PR team has been commenting on the site. In response I have been down voting all hotels in the Heber area on the major internet travel sites. I recommend that other speed trap victims do the same.
