State Route 3 near US Highway 29 – 15 Bypass
Troopers and Culpeper County deputies sit in a secluded area in the wide portion of the median about 3/10s of a mile north of the Route 3 (Fredericksburg/Culpeper) exit. A pine tree restricts the motorist’s vision. The posted speed limit is 60 mph but it is a traight stretch, allowing people to speed. Radar is usually set up northbound.
