State Route 32 near Main Street
When coming into Bismarck from 32-Southbound, Police Officers sit at the Local Restaurant with their running lights on, radaring all vehicles entering town from about 500 yards away. You won’t see the police when first entering town, but they can see you.

This is not actually a speed trap as the speed limit on Hwy 32 is 55 mph. As you approach Bismarck from the east there is a sign warning reduced speed to 30 mph as you enter town about 1000 feet away. Then there is another 30 mph speed limit sign next to the city limit sign.
Now coming into town from the west there is no warning before dropping from 55 mph to 30 mph. although there usually aren't any cops around there it's too close to the police station.
The entire stretch of highway 32 is a speed trap, the speed limit is pain stakingly slow through this town.
