Local officer will sit in the parking lot entrance for Sam’s Wine/Staples Office Supply, just off of northbound 41. There is a small, brick business sign/marker there that blocks your vision into the parking entrance as you head north, so it is ideal for the police. Main problem is that Route 41 is a divided highway with a 55-MPH speed limit until about 1/2 mile before this trap. Very unrealistic for people to slow that quickly, especially when the steady traffic flow is usually 50-60 MPH. This is a fairly regular trap, along with the trap mentioned previously on the northbound entrance to Route 41 at Lake-Cook Road, which is only about 1 mile before this trap.
