State Route 412 near Daly Avenue

Bethlehem, PennsylvaniaOct 26, 20041 Comments

Police cars will sit in the empty parkinglots across from the former Bethlehem steel. Speed limit is 35 MPH and you could get a ticket for going 38 MPH, if they’re in the right mood.

Comments:
In PA, you cannot be cited for speeding unless you are going 11 mph or more over the limit if you are being timed by an electronic device other than radar. If you are clocked by radar, then the gap narrows to 6 mph. This allows for inconsistencies in the operation of the devices. So, it is incorrect to state that someone doing 38 in a 35 was cited.
